Is the park barrier-free?

The paths in the entrance area and in Neumühlepark are suitable for wheelchair users and people with walking disabilities. The Kaiserberg has a gradient of 6 to 16% in places. The paths on the Kaiserberg may not be surfaced as it is a nature reserve. Therefore, the Kaiserberg is unfortunately not barrier-free.

Sanitary facilities
You will find our barrier-free sanitary facilities in the entrance area in the event hall, at the Bistro Neumühlepark and in the Buntes Haus restaurant on the Kaiserberg.

Wheelchair service
Disabled and elderly guests can borrow wheelchairs free of charge at the ticket desk. Reservation necessary under T +49 (0) 631-71007-60

Conditions for accompanying persons
Accompanying persons of visitors with a severely disabled pass marked B, H and/or aG receive free admission.

Is there a baby changing room?

A baby changing room is located in the entrance area by the sanitary facilities in the event hall as well as in the area of the Bistro Neumühlepark restaurant and in the Buntes Haus restaurant on the Kaiserberg.

Are dogs or other pets allowed on the premises?

Unfortunately, dogs or other pets are not allowed on the premises.

Where can I book tickets online?

Selected fares can be purchased as an online ticket/online voucher at www.gartenschau-kl-shop.de. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail after the purchase. This can either be printed out or presented at the ticket office using a smartphone (QR code), for example. Online tickets are valid for the entire season from the date of purchase and can be redeemed on any day.

What is the difference between a season ticket and a season ticket?

A season ticket is only valid for the current season. A season ticket is a subscription card with direct debit (SEPA Core Direct Debit Scheme).

Where do I get in touch if I have lost something?

The lost and found office is located at the main entrance ticket office. This can be reached by telephone on 0631-71007-60 during opening hours from 9 am to 7 pm.

Approval of the parking regulations

Visitors who enter the park with a valid season ticket or have purchased a day ticket at the ticket office or online agree to the park regulations without conditions.

Opening hours

Opening hours: Beginning of April to October 31 (daily from 09:00 to 19:00). Visitors can also stay in the park until dusk (exception: special events in the evening).

Events

All events are weather-dependent – depending on the weather, there may be postponements or cancellations. A refund of admission fees is generally excluded.

Use of inline skates, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, etc.

Inline skates, roller skates, skateboards and scooters of any kind are only permitted on the skate park and may only be put on or used there! Bicycles without training wheels as well as Segways, smart scooters, e-scooters or similar are generally not permitted.

Use of tricycles, bicycles with training wheels and balance bikes

Children up to the age of 5 may use tricycles, bicycles with training wheels and balance bikes in the park area if accompanied by a supervisor – but not on the pedestrian bridge!

Wheelchairs/electric wheelchairs

Wheelchairs or electric wheelchairs for people with disabilities are generally permitted and can also be borrowed from the ticket office (main entrance).

Dogs and other animals

Dogs (except guide dogs for the blind) and other animals may not be brought into the park.
It is not permitted to catch or take any living creatures in the entire park area (fishing is therefore also prohibited).

Use of Wooge, water treading pool with adjacent Lauter and water playground

Swimming is only permitted in the Neumühlewoog when the green flag is hoisted (only then will the appropriate rescue personnel be on site; however, the responsibility for those in need of protection remains with the respective supervisor, e.g. parents, grandparents, etc.). Walking on the water treading pool, the directly adjacent Lauter and the water playground is expressly permitted. It is not permitted to catch or take living creatures in the entire park area (fishing is therefore also prohibited).

Climbing

Climbing is only permitted on the specially designated play equipment (dinosaur figures are not allowed). Willful damage will be reported to the police!

Rock wall

There is a danger to life from falling rocks in the entire area of the rock wall. The barriers must not be crossed under any circumstances.

Open fire and barbeque

Open fires and barbecues are prohibited in the entire park area.

Behavior in the park

Every visitor must behave in such a way that decency, morality, peace, safety, cleanliness and order are guaranteed and other visitors are not disturbed or inconvenienced.

Dealing with your own valuables and lost property

Own valuables must be appropriately secured against theft – the park operator cannot be held liable for losses of any kind. Lost property must always be handed in at the ticket office (main entrance).

Photos and filming

It is possible that we, as the park operator, take photos or film recordings that are later also used for park communication/research; in addition, there is a media interest and therefore it is also possible that press representatives take and publish corresponding recordings; within the framework of the GDPR regulations.

Recordings by private persons

Recordings by private individuals are generally possible, but only for personal and family purposes. Not permitted: covert or clandestine activities, the recordings concern privacy or the images of the persons depicted could have a discrediting/discriminatory effect. The prior consent of the management must be obtained for commercial purposes. The use of drones is generally prohibited.

Violations of the parking regulations

If you violate the parking regulations or do not follow the instructions of our employees or supervisory staff, you must expect to be expelled from the park (without reimbursement of the entrance fee). Day tickets may be checked – so be sure to keep them!
