Fascinating scenes in miniature format can be seen in the LEGO® exhibition “Lauter Steine”. There are many great exhibits, replicas of regional and world-famous buildings and lovingly designed miniature worlds to marvel at. Planned, built and created by the master builders of Lauter Steine e.V.

Impressive sand sculptures await visitors in the entrance area. 160 tons of sand were created in a unique way by the artists Jeroen van de Vlag, Anique Kuizenga, Ludo Roders and Fergus Mulvany under the slogan “Jungle Fever”.

The hour of happiness has come! Marquis d’Escargot and Baroness Abalonia de l’Atlantique go about their business in a pompous, poetic, highly bizarre, and lightning-fast manner—by their standards, that is. They do themselves proud, holding court here and there, seemingly turning the sense of time upside down in the process.

The Easter Bunny will be visiting the garden show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Would you like to experience the healing powers of trees in combination with forest bathing (jap. Shinrin-Yoku) and yoga?
Surely you have already experienced the calming effect of a walk in the forest and perhaps you already know the harmonizing and energizing feeling.

After a short thematic introduction, we go together to the trees on the meadow at Barbarossa-Woog or near the Biblical Garden and absorb the atmosphere of the trees with all our senses. We try to let go of all our worries and the stress of everyday life.
Trees exert a fascination of their own. Every tree has its own nature and associated characteristics. We will explore these on our walk.
We will walk a short distance together in silence, pausing again and again to take in the atmosphere. Standing yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and exercises from tree yoga round off our tree experience.
Let yourself be surprised when mindfulness exercises are incorporated.
Of course, there will also be a relaxation session at the end to integrate the movement and the experience.
The exercises are also suitable for beginners and those with no previous experience. We mainly practise standing up.
Forest bathing and the yoga asanas help to take a break from everyday life. This leads to relaxation and regeneration. These promote stress reduction. The immune system can be strengthened. You will feel relaxed, refreshed and much more flexible afterwards.

Lu Jong (= “training of the body”) is a centuries-old movement practice from Tibetan medicine. The gentle, flowing exercises combine breathing, movement, and mindfulness and aim to activate the body’s self-healing powers, release blockages, and promote inner balance.

Lu Jong can be practiced regardless of age or fitness level.

The practice consists of various elements:

• The ninefold breathing exercise
• The five elements self-massage – to activate and attune the body
• The five basic exercises – These are connected to the five elements (earth, water, fire, wind, and space) and help to harmonize the energetic balance in the body.
• Movements for the five parts of the body – These exercises support the mobility and vitality of joints and organs.
• Exercises for the five vital organs – they specifically target the heart, lungs, spleen, liver, and kidneys.
• Six exercises for common complaints – Specific movements to relieve frequent physical symptoms.
• Two exercises to combat insomnia and fatigue – they promote relaxation and regeneration.

Lu Jong strengthens the spine, improves mobility, and brings body and mind into harmony—a gentle but effective method for greater well-being in everyday life.

It’s so green – and it’s Whit Monday again!

As has been a beautiful tradition for many years, artists from the Pfalztheater will be performing very special theater performances on the grounds of the Kaiserslautern Garden Show. Musical, theatrical, literary and dance surprises await you! With over 45,000 pumpkins of various kinds, unique works of art have been created at this year’s pumpkin exhibition under the motto “Fire”.
In addition to firefish, fire salamanders and fire jellyfish, there is also a volcano landscape to marvel at in pumpkin garb. Younger fans are sure to enjoy “Fireman Sam”, Jim Knopf with his steam engine Emma and Fred Flintstone.

The 8-strong assembly team attached each individual pumpkin to basic frames made of wood and wire. Different pumpkins were used to give the figures their colors. The color palette ranged from white to the classic orange ornamental pumpkins to blue pumpkins.
