The dinosaurs

Over 70 faithfully reproduced dinosaur models populate the Neumühle Park. They show the development of dinosaurs in the various geological eras from the Devonian to the Cretaceous. But not only dinosaur models, such as the 47-metre-long Seismosaurus, can be admired, but also mammoths and sabre-toothed tigers, which allow a short trip back to the Stone Age.

Sage garden

The sage garden shows just how diverse sage is. True sage, meadow sage, muscatel sage or whorled sage, to name just a few of the species. Accompanied by equally drought-tolerant perennials such as yarrow, sedum or dog chamomile. The rule here is “lots of sun, little water!”

Rhododendron garden

The woodland garden is home to bog plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas, flowering dogwoods and hydrangeas. It is surrounded by a Benjes hedge, which serves as a sustainable recycling area for cuttings and as a refuge for birds and reptiles.

Cottage garden

The cottage garden contains classic elements such as fruit, herb and vegetable cultivation as well as decorative elements. Various ornamental and wild flowers provide food for insects.

Rose garden

Climbing roses, shrub roses and bedding roses, over 30 varieties in total, form a wonderful ensemble together with herbaceous borders.

Garden for the blind

The garden for blind and visually impaired people primarily appeals to the senses of “touch – smell – taste”. There are many plants in the garden with a particularly distinctive sweet, aromatic, fruity or tart scent. Other plants present themselves with an interesting leaf surface structure and special flower shapes.

The large LEGO® exhibition “Lots of bricks”

April 1 to October 31

Fascinating sceneries in miniature format can be seen in the LEGO® exhibition “Lots of bricks”. There are many great exhibits, replicas of regional and world-famous buildings and lovingly designed miniature worlds to marvel at. Lovingly planned, built and created by the master builders of Lauter Steine e.V.

Sand sculpture exhibition “Jungle fever”

April 1 to October 31 – Entrance area

Impressive sand sculptures await visitors in the entrance area. 160 tons of sand were sculpted by the artists Jeroen van de Vlag, Anique Kuizenga, Ludo Roders and Fergus Mulvany in a unique way under the motto “Jungle Fever”.

The pumpkin exhibition

September 1 to October 31 – Neumühlepark

The pumpkin exhibition takes place every year from September 1 to October 31. Pumpkin figures are decorated with tens of thousands of pumpkins according to a different theme each year, turning them into very special works of art.
