Six-year-old Max and his mother Diana Grün arrived early at the main entrance to the garden show on Saturday and waited excitedly to be let in. In fact, the sun even came out and made the freshly planted spring beds shine in bright colors. At 9 a.m. the gates opened and Walfried Weber, President of Lebenshilfe Westpfalz e.V., welcomed Max and his mother as the first visitors of the 2024 season. While Mrs. Grün was happy about a bouquet of flowers, Max was thrilled with his LEGO® gift. A whole host of other visitors had already arrived to pay the garden show their first visit of the season. As every year, the children were drawn first to the dinosaurs and playgrounds while the parents enjoyed the splendor of the flower beds.
