On March 28, 2026, the Kaiserslautern Garden Show will open its gates for the 18th time, organized by Lebenshilfe Westpfalz e.V.

At the opening, visitors can expect a vibrant display of colors across more than 2,000 square meters of flower beds. There, 25,000 bulb plants—including tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths—compete for attention with 42,000 pansies, horned violets, and daisies. 180 planted pots and hanging baskets adorn the paths in the park.

A variety of events are planned throughout the season. There’s fun for the whole family at the popular Medieval Market and Family Festival, for example. At the MI(N)Tmachwelt, young explorers can immerse themselves in the world of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology.
Various summer events offer something for everyone, from musical readings and garden parties to a wine tastival.

Latest highlight: Across from the bistro in Neumühlepark, the inclusive playground “Welcome to the World of the Mammoth” has been created.

This year’s pumpkin exhibition in Neumühlepark takes us on a thematic journey far back in time to the “dinosaurs.” These creatures are already a familiar sight at the garden show, but the new dinosaur-themed displays are more impressive for their appearance than their size, as they are adorned with tens of thousands of pumpkins in total.

Fascinating scenes in miniature format can be seen in the LEGO® exhibition “Lauter Steine”. Lovingly planned, built, and created by the builders of Lauter Steine e.V.

This year, the garden show will be open from March 28 to November 1, daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
