Willow Chapel – a noble gift from nature

A house of worship unique in southwest Germany graces the Kaiserberg.

Five years ago, 60 volonteers from the entire Palatinate region built a chapel from live willows. It is almost 30 meters long and 15 meters high and it is the green house of worship that, in the course of time, will continue to grow – year after year, the willows will come into leaf and form a thicker natural roof.

Regular worship services are held here on every Sunday; also, marriages and baptisms take place in this unique ambience.

Marriages and baptisms:
The fee for marriages is €200 and €100 for baptisms. The amount includes admission for the entire event party.
