Neumühle Park
Over the years, the Neumühle Park developed into a “meeting point of generations“. Whether young or old, slow or fast, aggressive or easy-going, everybody will find his individual pace and can pass the day as he pleases.
Visitors discover the Neumühle Park on well-kept walking trails along the rippling Lauter-creek between the Barbarossa and Neumühle ponds. More than 80 dinosaur replicas attract the attention to the right. Looking to the left will inspire especially the ones loving flowers. Need some cooling-down on a hot day? Take a couple rounds of water treading in the Kneipp-basin. If this becomes too exhausting, stroll over to the lawn theater. The small square is situated at a level lower than the surrounding area. In former days an old mill produced canola oil there and it was important to us to keep the square at its original level.
You are now close to the Neumühle pond. The so-called new Lauter (creek) ends here and flows into the actual Lauter which is channelized underground but surfaces a few kilometers down the road. The round tour passes by animal sculptures from ice age and ends at our activities complex.
Here you find sports fields and playgrounds. Should you need some relaxing find yourself a shady place on a bench or unwind on one of the many deck chairs. The grass areas are also well suited for picnics. People who don’t like to carry along a picnic basket will certainly find some snacks at the comfy beer garden. As you can see, the centrally located Neumühle park is a place of exploring and relaxing – everybody to his taste. It is certainly a place to enjoy life!
